Our Why
Life and observations are the centre point of how we compose and perceive the world, with the hope our music will make people stop and think as well as touch their inner souls. We are passionate about the fact we write and perform about things that are genuine and honest, real to people, and wanting the world to be a better place.
This should be important to all of us as humans in this crazy world we are living in today. Now we have a new vision. To create a new band(s) and gather artists, crowded with young and super talented individuals, bringing their own personality and pizzazz to the group.
Our Mission

When the pandemic is controlled we are keen to organise many live gigs to develop the craft of performing as a unit. The big aim is to take the band on the world stage to really get the message out.
George & Ted (the Producers) really feel their music will excite people from all around the world … it just feels like the right time for us!
The Journey... So Far
George (guitar guy, melody maker, sound engineer) and Ted (lyricist, addicted to bass) are two semi-professional musicians, composers and producers who come from a place of love and laughter.Their compositions have made listeners take notice for over 10 years. After winning two competitive original song contests in old Sydney town, numerous ideas flowed thereafter as they were heartened their music was connecting.
Organically, over the years of playing live, writing and recording, George & Ted got to a point when they realised they have a compelling volume of songs. They then felt the works deserved to be published.
After further thoughts with the batch of songs bedded in wisdom and stories about real life and real people they had a vision of contemporising the music for a purpose. So, they are now ready to combine the eclectic indie sounds together with youthful energy – for passionate artists to take the music to the world.
George & Ted are excited to provide a pathway and opportunity to inspire young creative artists to move hearts and minds for global audiences.
Using real stories and issues around the world as a source of inspiration they create music that is both positive and critical but always looking for an alternate view. On a journey for a higher purpose, Featherway Music was born.
Established with a vision, for a mission and a war cry: “Music … for Humanity!”

FEATHERWAY MUSIC PTY LTD is an independent record label looking to launch talented young vocalists &/or musicians with the intent of releasing songs, videos and albums, nationally and globally.This rare opportunity would include promotional world tours for trained musicians (preferred) who are charismatic, dedicated and resilient team players who will commit to collaborations, continuous improvements as well as implementing the vision, mission and goals of the projects.
The roles will commence as casual employees with a view for contractual or full-time positions depending on project and business needs. There would be various incidental but essential tasks for promotional and operational purposes. The remuneration will be based on the award wage as per Australian music industry or negotiated fees for contracts.
